Brief
Creative Allies partnered with the band Twenty One Pilots for the fourth time to hold a fan art design contest. The competition involves fans creating posters for the tour based on the Scaled and Icy album. This competition brought in around 10,000 submissions from people around the world.
Challenge
The person in the poster is looking at their frozen reflection. Staring back at them is a dragon trying to break free. I love the metaphors in the songs and wanted to make a thought-provoking poster reflecting some of their music’s themes. Chocker and Shy Away are two songs from their album that stood out to me as I designed this poster.
